The 51 Fund is a private equity fund dedicated to financing narrative and documentary feature films directed by female filmmakers.

It was founded by Naomi McDougall Jones, Lois Scott, Caitlin Gold, and Lindsay Lanzillotta.

Their films Cusp and Shayda both premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won a Special Jury Prize and the Audience Award respectively. Shayda is Australia’s official entry for the 2024 Best International Feature Film Academy Award.
